“The journey that is the most delicious” is when you are traveling around in South African vineyards, says Anna Norström in one of Sweden’s biggest newspapers, Svenska Dagbladet, “In South Africa there are wineries close one to another, the gastronomy is high class.” It is quite true. It is nice, and a well-deserved attention that South Africa gets in a great article in the newspaper.

“Perfume from wild jasmine fills the nose. The cicadas are playing everywhere. All around mountains tower above the lush green vegetation. Franschhoek is seductively beautiful. The small town of Franschhoek is in a valley seventy kilometres from Cape Town and is filled with vineyards. With its 15,000 inhabitants it is not as well-known as the nearby wine region of Stellenbosch, but the town is the Western Cape Province’s gastronomic capital.”

Anna talks about several exciting restaurants and winery visits that you can do in the Cape, but it is still just a small selection. There are lots of beautiful vineyards and exquisite restaurants.
